Melissa is an Associate Attorney at the Firm’s Tampa location. She joined Kaye Bender Rembaum in 2026, as a part of the Community Association group. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Howell practiced civil litigation, including insurance defense, first-party property, and nursing home defense.

In 2020 she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Legal Studies, and in May of 2023 Melissa received her Juris Doctor from the Stetson University College of Law. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in September 2023.

Today with Kaye Bender Rembaum, Melissa assists clients with all aspects of their community association legal needs, including drafting and amending governing documents, contract review, compliance and enforcement issues, and corporate governance matters.
