Join us for the discussion “Navigating Association Records: Clarity, Compliance, and Community Best Practices”. The live webinar will be moderated by Brian Street, Castle Group’s Executive Vice President of Operations. He will be joined by Jeffrey A. Rembaum, Esq. Attorney and Board Certified Specialist in Condominium and Planned Development Law, and Attorney Alan Schwartzseid, Esq. with Kaye Bender Rembaum, P.L.
Note 1: The DBPR Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares & Mobile Homes requires that all Board Members who attend must conduct their own webinar registration and, on the day of the webinar, log in/join in on their own, with their own unique link (or phone in information) provided by Zoom. This must take place even if you watch with other people. This assures you will appear on the attendance sheet, providing proof of attendance.
Note 2: This is a course for Board Members of a Condominium Association. If you are a Board Member for a Homeowners’ (HOA) or a Cooperative, this class will NOT satisfy your state requirement.
Instructors: Kerstin Henze, Esq. and Emily E. Gannon, Esq.
Managers and board members will receive a comprehensive education of the statutory requirements and responsibilities that each volunteer must know to more effectively serve on the Board of Directors of a Condominium Association.
Students will be able to demonstrate their familiarity with the responsibilities of being an effective Director for their Condominium Association including a better understanding of: (a) milestone inspection requirements; (b) structural integrity reserve study requirements; (c) elections; (d) record keeping; (e) financial literacy and transparency; (f) levying of fines; (g) notice and meeting requirements; (h) conflicts of interest; and (i) insurance requirements.
