David H. Halpern, Esq.

Associate

David H. Halpern is an Associate at the Firm’s Palm Beach Gardens location focusing on community association law.  David began his legal career after graduating law school summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University in 2003 by joining the Fourth District Court of Appeals in West Palm Beach, clerking for the Honorable Bobby Gunther.  David continued his work for the appellate court as a member of the central staff, working on non-final appeals and extraordinary writ petitions.  He left the Court to begin working for community associations at a firm based in Coral Gables.  Thereafter, David moved to become the supervising attorney at a different community association firm, managing the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast collection and foreclosure division.  In 2010, David opened his own law practice in Palm City, representing associations and developers from Orange County to Broward County.

Prior to starting his legal career, David spent over a decade in the Broadcast Journalism field, working for television and radio stations across Florida and Illinois, along with teaching courses as an instructor at the University of Florida.  After closing his own firm in 2019, David continued his passion for teaching by obtaining his Florida Teaching Certification, while teaching in the Martin County School District.  At the same time, David entered the PGA apprentice program, as a means to helping others learn the great game of golf.

David returned to the practice of law in 2024, joining Kaye Bender Rembaum and working out of their Palm Beach Gardens office.  The opportunity to help others, to provide cost-effective services to clients in need, and to pursue excellence in a professional setting brought David back to the practice of law generally, and to Kaye Bender Rembaum specifically.
