10am-11am EST: Covenant Enforcement for Associations (with Danielle M. Brennan, Esq. BCS) | OPP/ELE CE for CAMS | This course will provide new and experienced Community Association Managers, and Board Members, with information on the importance of timely and uniformly enforcing the covenants.

11:15am-12:15pm EST: Elections for Community Associations (with Peter Mollengarden, Esq. BCS) | HR/ELE CE for CAMS | Attendees will learn about about election law and procedures for condominiums, cooperatives and homeowners’ associations, including eligibility requirements and terms of directors, best practices for remote meetings, vacancies between elections, and election disputes. The panel will also cover the requirements and procedures necessary for properly conducting electronic voting.

1:00pm-2:00pm EST: Navigating the FFHA: Assistance Animal or Pet? (with Benjamin Heydlauff, Esq.) | OPP/ELE CE for CAMS | Learn about HUD regulations and Florida Legislation pertaining to assistance animals, as well as common issues concerning assistance animals and addressing requests by residents for reasonable accommodations.

2:15pm-3:15pm EST: Conflicts of Interest: What You Need to Know (with Alan Schwartzseid, Esq. BCS) | HR/ELE CE for CAMS | Learn to identify potential conflicts of interest (plus definitions), how to document disclosures, internal controls and training staff, directors and officers, new statutory requirements and penalties and best practices for associations.
